³ I will bless those who bless you,
    and whoever curses you I will curse;^(A)
and all peoples on earth
    will be blessed through you.^(B)”^[a]

¹⁰ The scepter will not depart from Judah,^(A)
    nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,^[a]
until he to whom it belongs^[b] shall come^(B)
    and the obedience of the nations shall be his.^(C)

²¹ They made me jealous^(A) by what is no god
    and angered me with their worthless idols.^(B)
I will make them envious by those who are not a people;
    I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.^(C)

⁸ Ask me,
    and I will make the nations^(A) your inheritance,^(B)
    the ends of the earth^(C) your possession.

²⁷ All the ends of the earth^(A)
    will remember and turn to the Lord,
and all the families of the nations
    will bow down before him,^(B)
28 for dominion belongs to the Lord^(C)
    and he rules over the nations.

²⁹ All the rich^(D) of the earth will feast and worship;^(E)
    all who go down to the dust^(F) will kneel before him—
    those who cannot keep themselves alive.^(G)
30 Posterity^(H) will serve him;
    future generations^(I) will be told about the Lord.
³¹ They will proclaim his righteousness,^(J)
    declaring to a people yet unborn:^(K)
    He has done it!^(L)

⁴ There is a river^(A) whose streams^(B) make glad the city of God,^(C)
    the holy place where the Most High^(D) dwells.^(E)
